From September 4th to 14th, the city of Liverpool in England hosted the World Boxing Championship. The Georgian national boxing team finished the tournament with a bronze medal. Olympic medalist Lasha Guruli won the bronze in the 65kg weight category. It’s worth noting that this is his third consecutive World Championship medal. Overall, this is his 7th medal in major tournaments, including the Olympics and World and European Championships.
